Support our One Health project
As a vet in Germany, the health of people and animals has always been close to my heart. During my many visits to the Zambezi region, I realized how urgently better healthcare is needed in this remote area. Poverty, a lack of education and a lack of prevention severely affect the health of people and their livestock. Zoonoses such as rabies are a particular danger. I have therefore decided to work with local people on sustainable and future-proof solutions to improve their quality of life.

In 2016, the idea for Zambesi Health e.V. was born. Together with my family and like-minded people who also wanted to become active, we founded the association. Our aim was to strengthen health care for people and animals, particularly in the remote rural areas of Zambia.
Since then, we have been working together with ourlocal colleagues at on various successful projects in the Zambesi region and are always inspired by each other.
